Medieval strap dress / overdress red "Lene"

This medieval strap dress is made of sturdy cotton fabric (twill). It is cut close to the body at the top and has a wooden button placket in the middle. A lacing at the back allows for an individual fit and gives the dress an elegant bodice look when laced. The fitted skirt section is rounded out in a feminine way with gathers at the waist, while two pockets on either side of the hips provide comfort.

Temporally, this sleeveless overdress fits into the High and Late Middle Ages. Depending on the choice of accessories, it can be transformed into different costumes - from maid to peasant to pirate. Combined with a long-sleeved undergarment, it can also be worn on cooler days.
