Gunsite, pocket knife with AUS 10A stainless steel blade

The Gunsite™ is a special version of Cold Steels® Counter Point 1. Its blade is semi-serrated and has so-called jimpings (notches) on the back for extra grip.
Engraved on the blade is the logo of the Gunsite™ Academy, which provides weapons training for elite soldiers, law enforcement officers and U.S. citizens in Arizona.

Stainless Steel AUS 10A
In terms of strength and toughness, AUS 10A has the same qualities as AUS 8A. However, this steel offers the extraordinary plus of 20% greater edge retention. This property of being able to stay sharp longer gives it decisive performance advantages over other more common stainless steel grades.
