Sprint Run Edition

The Knockout Sprint Run, a limited edition of Kershaw's popular Knockout folder with carbon fiber handle scales and Böhler M390 steel blade, is absolutely stunning in more ways than one.

As with the original Knockout, this carbon/M390 model has a piece of the carbon fiber frame cut out, or knocked out (English to knock out, hence the name) and replaced with a small stainless steel plate to create Kershaw's sub-framelock. When the knife is opened, this detached section of steel pops inward behind the blade to provide a secure lock during use. However, because only a portion of the back handle, or frame, is made of steel, the Knockout retains its light fighting weight while providing a sturdy frame lock. The result is a knife that, while generously proportioned, remains light enough to easily carry as an EDC knife in everyday use.

And then there's the blade itself - a razor-sharp modified drop-point blade made of high-quality Böhler M390 steel. It features a stonewash finish and has excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance.

This folding knife is equipped with the SpeedSafe® opening mechanism, making it effortless to flip open with one hand. Simply press the integrated flipper or slide the thumb stud forward to quickly and smoothly extend the blade from the handle.

The Knockout is equipped with a lanyard loop and can be carried deep in your pocket thanks to Kershaw's Deep Carry pocket clip. Even better, thanks to holes in the handle, the clip is convertible and makes it possible to carry the knife on the left or right as desired.
