Cookbook Camp Kitchen - Medieval cooking on an open fire
A campfire is something fascinating! Who doesn't love sitting together in a group and watching the flames dance? But when it comes to food, you quickly lose your appetite with the same old stick bread and stews.
But cooking over an open fire can be so varied! In her camp kitchen, Tatjana Junker has compiled over 30 varied recipes inspired by historical sources. This cookbook contains everything from simple meals of the day to feasts for special occasions. It also contains lots of information about historical ingredients, tools and preparation methods.
The new edition of the cookbook, which has long been out of print, has been given a magnificent makeover. In addition to the elegant presentation and new layout, many recipes have also been revised to cater equally for beginners and advanced campfire cooks. Whether for reenactment or in a scout group, whether for LARP at camp or camping in the great outdoors: all recipes can be easily adapted to the desired number of people and have already passed their acid test in the truest sense of the word!
