Emperor Maximilian I dagger - The matching dagger for the emperor's famous sword, good for depicting the early Renaissance, with bone handle and leather scabbard.

Emperor Maximilian I Dagger

This is the matching dagger to the famous sword which Emperor Maximilian I is said to have carried in the Battle of Guinegate in 1513. The battle in question is also known as the "Battle of Spurs", as the French cavalry left the battlefield in disarray and in flight.

This very admirable dagger offers a great eye-catcher and is suitable for the representation of the early Renaissance.

It has a bone handle, with brass rings at the junction with the quillons, pommel and in the centre of the handle. The pommel and guard are also made of brass.

The plain, black leather scabbard is fitted with a brass mouth and locating plate.
