Fulham Gladius type Mainz

Galdius is the Latin term for the sword. This sword is the Mainz type, which has a double-edged cli8nge. It is extremely efficient for slashing and stabbing techniques and was a feared close combat weapon.

This replica has a blade made of spring steel (EN45), which is not sharpened. The handle is made of bone and wood.

The richly decorated sword scabbard is made of leather wrapped wood, which has fittings made of brass and sheet metal. A leather strap attached to the carrying rings makes the sword comfortable to carry.
