As a result of the collaboration between Rick Hinderer and the designers and technicians of Kershaw, the original Cryo (item no. 1555TI) is one of the best sellers of Kershaw. This pocket knife, which made it onto the Best Buy list of the U.S. trade publication Blade Magazine at the Blade Show, one of the largest knife trade shows in the world, and was also recommended by the lifestyle magazine Men's Journal, will satisfy your craving for a Hinderer knife without straining your wallet.

Now the Cryo is also available with one of the most requested modifications by Kershaw customers: a G-10 front handle scales. This modified model not only looks good, but also provides the extra grip fans have been asking for. The G-10 handle scales also provide an overall weight reduction to this very practical knife.

Like all other folding knives in the Cryo collection, the Cryo with G10 handle features a SpeedSafe opening mechanism, making it quick and effortless to open with one hand, either with the integrated flipper or thumb stud. The blade steel has been heat treated strictly to Kershaw's exacting requirements. The front handle scales are made of G-10 and the back is made of stainless steel. A sturdy frame lock keeps the blade securely locked in place during use, and a special Rick Hinderer-designed end stop prevents you from overstretching the liner when opening it.

For maximum carry flexibility and discretion, the Cryo G-10 is equipped with a convertible Deep Carry pocket clip that allows 4 different carry positions.
