The robust Kershaw Valmara pocket knife was created by designer Les George and is a versatile all-rounder with a drop-point blade made of 8Cr13MoV steel, a Speedsafe opening mechanism and a sturdy liner lock. The ergonomic handle with deep S-shaped grooves ensures a firm grip, while the stonewash finish gives the blade a beautiful look. This knife is well suited for a variety of cutting tasks.

Pocket Knife Kershaw Valmara

For the design of the rugged Valmara, designer Les George drew on both his 22 years as a custom knifemaker and his experience as a U.S. Marine and his extensive, hands-on knowledge of tool handling. This pocket knife was named by Les after an Italian jump mine.

Its drop point blade features a slight recurve grind. Thanks to this blade shape, the Valmara is a great all-rounder that is ideal for a wide range of cutting tasks. In addition, the blade features a swedge (a ground, though not sharp, top of the blade). This taper, or bevel towards the back of the blade, slims the blade at the tip for even more penetrating power. And since this blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel, it lays out a good sharpenability and edge retention to the day. The stonewash finish also gives it a nice look and helps hide usage scratches.

Thanks to its ergonomic shape and textured surface with deep S-shaped grooves, the handle fits firmly and securely in your hand. And with the Speedsafe opening mechanism and integrated flipper, the knife opens quickly and smoothly. Wham! In an instant, the Valmara is ready for use. A sturdy liner lock also keeps the blade securely locked in place while you work. The Valmara is equipped with a convertible (left/right) pocket clip, and for those who prefer lanyards, a hole in the handle allows you to attach a carry strap.
