Pocket knife Kershaw Westin

The Westin was designed by Les George. Thanks to its elongated, slim lines, it is not only beautiful, but also easy to carry. Plus, its drop-point blade proves to be a jack-of-all-trades, making this pocket knife ideal for just about any cutting task.

The Westin is named after the title character of the US series Burn Notice broadcast by the USA Network. It is a rather larger knife with a blade about 8.9 cm long, symmetrically shaped but asymmetrically ground. In the upper part of the blade it has a so-called Top Grind. This taper, or rather this bevel towards the back of the blade slims the blade, gives it a coolness à la Michael Westin and emphasizes the tip. And since this blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel, it lays down good sharpenability and edge retention. The stonewash finish also gives it a nice look and helps conceal usage scratches.

Thanks to the SpeedSafe opening mechanism, the one-handed opening of the Westin goes smoothly from the hand. To preserve the purist look of this pocket knife, a thumb stud was omitted - simply press the flipper and promptly the knife is ready for use. An oversized, decorative axle screw gives the simple, beautiful look of this EDC knife that certain something.

For a secure grip provides an ergonomically shaped handle that fits perfectly to the hand. And for even better grip, the front handle is made of textured fiberglass reinforced nylon. The back is made of steel with a stonewash finish and features a sturdy frame lock for secure blade retention during use. Thanks to the convertible pocket clip, the Westin sits comfortably in your pants pocket on either the left or right side.
