The Ultimate Hunter is the result of a collaboration between knifemaker Andrew Demko and Lynn C. Thompson and is the culmination of nearly 3 years of design development. It has been thoroughly field tested on 4 continents and has proven itself time and time again!

This folding knife is made from American CPM S35VN steel. It has been hand ground to a razor sharp flat edge and its cutting edge has an incredibly high edge retention. The heavily glass bead blasted, CNC machined G-10 handle has a comfortable, supple surface while providing a very secure grip.

With its extra-strong Tri-Ad® locking mechanism for added security, the Ultimate Hunter is the quintessential hunting and outdoor knife - and also a great EDC knife for everyday use - practical, functional and incredibly powerful!

2019 model - The Ultimate Hunter in the color Blaze Orange with blade made of S35VN steel replaces the discontinued predecessor model made of CTS® XHP (item no. CST-30ULHRY).

CPM S35VN Steel
This is an exceptional American super steel. CPM S35VN is not only extremely tough and durable, but also grinds very well to razor sharpness and holds that sharpness for a long time. With its uniform microstructure, this very fine-grained powder steel offers consistent, good properties: durable, reliable, highly resistant to corrosion, tough and hard even with thinly ground edges. A good, versatile steel for top quality knives and tools.
