Viking brooch chain blue-green
Fibula necklaces were necklaces which consist of different beads, balls, natural stones and pieces of wood which were strung together. Then this row was attached to two brooches and fastened to clothing. In the Middle Ages, these necklaces testified to wealth or served as a status symbol. Colorful glass beads and amber were very popular in the early Middle Ages, especially among the Vikings. Some jewelry was made of bronze, which was worn by wealthy women, but less by the social ruling class. The poor people took beads made of clay for decoration.
Our offered brooch necklace has loops at the ends, which makes them easy to attach to brooches or, with S-hooks as a connection, to chain distributors. Due to its cool colors, the Viking brooch chain blue-green suits simple outfits as well as more noble garb.
Please note: Only the brooch chain is sold. S-hooks as well as brooches are not included, but can be purchased separately in our store.
