Description

British general saber from 1831

The British generals attached great importance to the appearance of their uniform and armament. Accordingly, the Duke of Wellington wore a saber on his uniform, which had a handle in the Mameluke style. On the hilt were experiences of his years in India.

Our replica of this saber is made with a blade of EN45 spring steel, which is sharpened. The guard is made of high quality brass and is ornately decorated. The handle is made of wood and horn in the so-called Mameluke style.

The matching leather scabbard to the saber is made of sheet metal and has a carrying ring, which allows you to attach it to a sword belt.
