Blunt German lion's head parade sabre with steel scabbard, based on the design of the ceremonial sabres of German officers in World War 2.

German lion head saber, blunt, officer saber with steel scabbard, total length 94.5 cm

This saber, also called lion's head saber because of its special pommel shape, is a weapon usually belonging to the uniform of officers of the Prussian and German military.

In both world wars of the 2nd century, these sabers, in many variations were carried by higher ranks of the German army.

This saber is not a one-to-one replica of a historical saber. Rather, this saber is based on the design of the state sabers, which the German officers wore during World War 2 to your gala, - parade uniforms.

The blade made of spring steel EN 45, has a slender and slightly curved shape. It has an approximately 54 cm long hollow groove. The striking edge is 1mm thick and has a continuous blade tang, which is screwed to the end of the handle.
