Chain distributor silver plated "snake", 1 piece
During the Viking Age, approximately between 700 and 1000 AD, oval brooches with chain distributors were an integral part of many women's wardrobes in Sweden and the Baltic States. As a result of this fashion phenomenon, these items are often found in excavations of women's graves. Wearing several necklaces at the same time between two oval brooches, connected either with large distribution plates or thin bar chain distributors, was probably widespread in eastern Sweden and other bordering areas such as Finland and the Baltic States. This type was very typical there and was provided with eyelets on the back, unlike the traditional holes today.
This silver plated chain organizer "snake" was inspired by a bead organizer from the Viking Age. You can attach up to 3 chains to the holes (using S-hooks).
