Officially licensed movie replica from The Lord of the Rings, by United Cutlery.

The father of Isildur, King Elendil, was originally in possession of the mighty sword Narsil. But at the end of the Second Age in Middle-earth, during a great battle between Mordor and the last alliance of Men and Elves, Narsil's blade was broken and Elendil died. Isildur, however, still managed to use the broken sword of Narsil to cut off the finger of the ruler Sauron, who wore the one ring. When Sauron lost the ring, he had no more power and his body perished on it.

For 3000 years the Elves of Rivendell watched over the shards of Narsil, but at the end of the third age they forged the blade together again. The new sword Anduril (also called Flame of the West) was to stand by Aragorn - the rightful heir to the throne of Gondor - from now on.

Intricately detailed and crafted from high-quality materials, this is an officially licensed replica of the original movie prop sword from the Lord of the Rings trilogy by United Cutlery - the industry leader in creating such replicas. The designer's top priority was to accurately replicate all the details of the original sword. The blade is made of 420 stainless steel and the hilt features an intricate design that includes a leather-wrapped handle and a solid metal guard and pommel with gold-plated accents. To complete the look, the pommel is engraved with elvish runes in Sindarin that say, "Narsil is my name - a mighty sword. Telchar made me in Nogrod."

A decorative wall plaque that can be used for display and a certificate of authenticity are included.
