The Hobbit - Glamdring, the sword of Gandalf the Grey
Â
Officially licensed movie replica of the famous wizard Gandalf, from The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey, by United Cutlery.
During their adventure journey, Gandalf and his fellowship of dwarves found a troll cave in Rhûdaur containing two ancient Elven blades and a knife. The history of the blades was uncertain at first, but Master Elrond was able to examine them in Rivendell and determine that they were well known ancient blades with which many orcs had been slain in the Orc Wars of the First Age of Middle-earth.
Forged by the High Elves of the West in the hidden city of Gondolin, it disappeared for a thousand years until it was found by Gandalf and his companions. After claiming it as his own on their journey to Erebor, he used it against the orcs and goblins of the Misty Mountains, and also took it with him on the Fellowship of the Ring's journey to mordor - until his last day in Middle-earth.
