Medieval engagement ring bronze

The medieval engagement ring bronze is a loving replica of a medieval engagement ring that represents the bond between two lovers, with their hands intertwined. This engagement ring was inspired by a ring made between 1450 and 1550 AD, and was meant to represent the eternal bond between two lovers - with two individual rings combined into a single piece of jewelry. Unlike the original, our ring is a single piece and cannot be split.

Since ancient times, people have celebrated and honored marriage with the symbol of two hands clasped together, which was again highly valued in the late Middle Ages. An engagement was as binding as the bond of marriage itself. Couples went before a priest to make their promise and put on rings, which often had romantic inscriptions or showed intertwined hands.

The ring has parallel ends that overlap by about 1.5 cm and is designed so that it is not closed at the bottom. This makes it possible to change the diameter of the ring by a couple of ring sizes and thus this engagement ring, with only three different versions, will fit on almost any finger.
