Magyar ring bronze "Zamardi"
The Magyar ring bronze "Zamardi" is a reproduction of a Magyar finger ring from the 7th century, the early Viking Age or Vendel period. The original Magyar ring pate, was discovered in grave 517 in Kaposvár, near Zamardi, Hungary. Numerous artifacts from the Viking Age, attributed to the Magyars, have been found in this area.
The ring has parallel ends that overlap by about 1 cm (0.39 inches) and is designed so that it is not closed at the bottom. This makes it possible to change the diameter of the ring by a couple of ring sizes and thus, with only three different versions, this ring will fit on almost any finger.
