Medieval dress black with velvet details "Meira"
The floor-length dress has a loose cut equipped with an adjustable lacing system at the waist and back, which ensures a good fit. The sleeves can also be adjusted, thanks to the laces at the bottoms. Cotton velvet trim along the hems, shoulder yoke and stand-up collar create a look of stately elegance. The flared skirt section swings beautifully with the wide velvet hem.

First appearing in the 14th century in the Mediterranean region, velvet was predominantly processed in Italy. Due to the elaborate method of production and the use of (mostly) silk, this fabric has been associated with exclusivity since its beginnings - it adorned the Burgundian fashion as well as the dresses of the Renaissance.

Care instructions:
Cotton velvet should not be washed in the washing machine, otherwise it will wrinkle irrevocably. Ironing is also not recommended, as this will cause the pile to lose its depth. Light stains can be brushed out with a clothes brush by stroking in the direction of the pile, dry cleaning is recommended for coarser stains.
