Pugio holder for Roman belt, Vindonissa pattern, pair

These pugio holders were made after a find from the fort of Vindonissa (Switzerland). The original artifact is dated to the first half of the 1st century and belonged to the cingulum or balteus of a Roman legionary.

Our belt fitting offered here is cast from 2 mm thick brass. The belt plate is not pre-drilled so that it can be attached as desired.

Well suited for making your own Roman belt. The delivery includes 2 holders (1 order = 2 pieces).
