Pugio holders for Roman belt, Mainz pattern, pair

These pugio holders or hangers are well suited for custom making a Roman belt. They are based on a find from the Mainz area and are dated to the 1st century AD. The original artifacts belong to the cingulum of a Roman legionary.
These belt fittings are cast from 2 mm thick brass and given an antique finish for appearance. The movable belt plates are not pre-drilled so they can be attached as desired. These beautiful belt fittings are sold in pairs (1 order = 2 pieces).
The mounting hardware must be purchased separately as it is not included.
