Thorshammer pendant bronze "Skåne"
Thorshammer was a magical weapon of the Norse god of thunder Thor. After being thrown, Thorshammer magically returned to his hand with ease. Its name Mjölnir means "crusher" or "lightning". It was used by the Vikings in the 9th and 10th centuries as an amulet to show their loyalty to traditional beliefs over Christianity.
The Thor's Hammer pendant, modeled after the Mjölnir of Kabbarp, is also known as the Skåne Hammer because of its discovery in Skåne. The original was made in the late Viking Age. Our Viking pendant is intentionally hollowed out on the back to reduce its weight.
