Late medieval belt end fitting made of brass casting. Matches buckle VM001874. Depicted in "Waffen und Kleidung der Spätgotik".
Dated to the 15th century. The riveting plate shows a bird. The end plate attached with a simple hinge shows a man in cotte.

The riveting plate has 4 riveting pins attached. Those can be crimped or bent with cautious hammer blows.
