Gothic dagger, SK-C show dagger

Gothic daggers of this type were mostly used by knights, unmounted mercenaries and archers as secondary weapons.

This dagger was carefully crafted for show fighting. The blade was forged from spring steel, which goes all the way to the pommel, where it is invisibly bolted. The blade is oil-hardened to approx. 48 HRC and has blunt edges and a rounded tip.

The guard and the round pommel are made of solid, forgeable cast iron. The guard has recesses on both sides in the shape of a three-leaf clover.

The matching scabbard for this dagger is made of a wooden core and covered with leather. In addition, the leather scabbard is equipped with a breech plate.
