Description

A fully enclosed helmet wouldn't prove as efficient as this knightly gorget paired with your trusted sallet! This style was favoured by most heavily armoured knights from the second quarter of the 15th century until the Renaissance when the Closed Helmet was introduced. It allowed the wearer to easily remove the helmet when not required and provided significant protection on the battlefield.

Skillfully HANDCRAFTED from sturdy 18 gauge (1.27 mm) mild steel, it makes an excellent companion for your LARP and reenactment outfits, making you stand out with your armour! A set of ROBUST GENUINE LEATHER STRAPS help close it, and another pair of leather straps can conveniently fasten your pauldrons in place if you wish to. This gorget easily fits most body shapes, thanks to the well-articulated, adjustable back and front plates!
