Rodrigo Cotehardie – Men’s Medieval Brocade Jacket

The Cotehardie Rodrigo from Epic Armoury’s Yoremade collection is a historically inspired, close-fitting buttoned jacket in the style of the late Middle Ages. The fitted cut reflects the fashion of the 14th and 15th centuries and is ideal for high-ranking characters such as lords, merchants or guild leaders at medieval markets, LARP events and banquets.

Material & Workmanship: The outer fabric is a heavy brocade with a woven jacquard pattern (60% viscose, 40% cotton), which creates a rich, textured look. The smooth satin lining prevents undergarments from slipping and ensures a comfortable fit. The full button placket at the front, as well as the button fastenings at the bottom of the sleeves, allow for a historically accurate, close-fitting cut around the wrists – a characteristic feature of late medieval fashion.
