Description
Documenting larp, learning from roleplaying and connecting with others - LARPzeit #85
Most people will probably remember how they got started with larp. In this interview, larp photographer Marco Winter talks about his personal key experience and where it led him. Not only for active characters, but also for him behind the camera, battles are often highlights, costumes are always important and challenges are an opportunity for personal growth. The larp scene is evolving, with concepts, realizations and characters offering more and more complex possibilities for players and those who accompany and document cons.
We accompany larp newcomers who gain their first experience in live role-playing in their prime, larper rhabarbarians who humorously report on their experiences and look at the Geddes con series, which invites you into The Witcher universe in a complex and accessible way. If you want to play Minecraft for real, you can find out more about the educational role-playing game in this issue. Another educational role-playing game from Denmark aims to illustrate what the United Nations does at school: In the report, both teachers and a pupil describe their experiences.
Biccoline is an international household name - to celebrate its 25th anniversary, we are honoring the Canadians with a comprehensive look at the event. LARPcon doesn't have a long history to look back on, as it will be taking place for the first time next year: The one-day event attracts visitors with a mixture of trade fair, varied lectures and larp-appropriate entertainment. You can get an insight into the planning in the event tip.
In addition to con reports from a wide range of genres, introductions to other locations, tips and interviews, you will of course also find do-it-yourself instructions, a delicious Christmas cookie recipe, upcoming con dates and reviews.
