Decorative Viking axe with a damask look and knot pattern
Flaw: In one place, the wood is slightly lighter in colour than the rest of the piece. In addition, a small piece of wood has broken off. However, this can easily be glued back on (see photos).
This Viking axe impresses with its beautiful, powerful appearance. The axe head has a damask look, which gives the blade a noble appearance. A knot pattern has been worked into the wooden handle, giving the axe its Viking appearance. Knot patterns stand for both simplicity and complexity - they come in many different weaves and are often associated with the Vikings.
