Brown flat hat made from a wool blend

The Edward flat hat by Yoremade is modelled on one of the iconic Tudor berets and caps of the 16th century. This simple, round hat style was an everyday garment during the Renaissance – worn by wealthy merchants, scholars and ordinary citizens alike. Anyone wishing to create a historically accurate costume from this era will find that this hat provides the characteristic silhouette without the need for elaborate headwear.

Brushed wool (80% wool, 20% polyamide) was chosen for the construction, offering a soft, matt finish and looking strikingly similar to traditional felt. The material is sturdy enough to maintain its flat shape permanently, yet flexible enough to tilt it as desired or personalise it with a brooch, feathers or pins. The breathable fabric ensures that the cap remains comfortable to wear even during long events or in changeable weather.

The hat is available in four precise sizes to ensure a perfect fit. The inner circumferences range from 56 cm (size S) to 62 cm (size XL), so the right size can be found for every head.
