Description
Brown medieval gugel
Enter the world of the Middle Ages with our brown Gugel, my esteemed ladies and gentlemen. Made from a lightweight cotton fabric, this piece features a long tail, also known as a liripipe. The medieval gugel can also be worn as a chaperon as a variation. The characteristic hood not only covers the head, but also protects the shoulders - this style has its roots in the Viking Age. Originally intended as everyday clothing for farmers, craftsmen and travelers, the gugel became a fashionable element of the wardrobe from the 14th century onwards: tighter in fit, longer at the ends and often with decorative hems. The medieval gugel can be cleaned by machine washing at 40°C (104°F) on a gentle cycle.
Features of the gugel with long brown tails:
- Material: 100% cotton
- One size fits all
- Care instructions: Machine wash at 40°C (104°F), gentle cycle, not suitable for tumble drying
