This chain cover was made of unriveted rings of spring steel.

It completely covers the shoulder and has a square face cutout. We recommend wearing a padded arming cap underneath.
In addition, this chain hood has a square mouth guard made of padded leather. A leather strap is sewn onto the side of the mouthguard. This type of chainmail hood was especially popular in the high middle ages.
