Description
High medieval clay mug
This medieval clay mug is modeled after a historical original and brings a real medieval feel to the table. It was traditionally thrown on a potter's wheel and fired at 1,200 °C (2,192 °F), making it particularly sturdy and durable.
The rim of the mug is glazed for hygienic reasons. The glaze is, of course, food-safe and free of lead and other harmful substances. The mug is also dishwasher-safe, making it easy to use in everyday life.
Each piece is carefully handcrafted in Germany – without any industrial assistance – to preserve its authentic character.
