Description

This black medieval leather belt is an authentic accessory for history buffs, LARP enthusiasts and market-goers. It features a hand-embossed Celtic knot pattern along its entire length and lends any medieval outfit an atmospheric, historical character. In the Middle Ages, leather belts were part of everyday attire for both women and men – they gave the often loose-fitting garments a better fit whilst also serving as a decorative element.

The belt fastens with a brass-finished ring: the end of the belt is threaded through the ring and then knotted – a simple yet historically authentic way of wearing it. The leather is vegetable-tanned, meaning it has been treated naturally without synthetic chemicals. This makes every belt unique – slight variations in colour and individual grain patterns are typical of this high-quality natural material.
