Description
Hooded scarf with a distressed look – a medieval accessory made of cotton
A scarf that is more than just a simple garment: with its integrated hood and the vintage look created by piece dyeing, it looks as though it has already been through many adventures. Whether at a medieval market, a LARP event or a re-enactment camp – it blends seamlessly into historically inspired outfits, adding a practical and visually harmonious element.
Made from lightweight 100% cotton fabric, it feels comfortable against the skin and offers protection from the wind in cooler weather. The long ends can be worn in various ways: draped around the neck, it creates a look reminiscent of classic medieval gugeln – the headgear with an integrated hood that was widespread in the High and Late Middle Ages. If you let the ends hang freely or fasten them to your belt, it creates a striking look that works equally well for characters such as foresters, rangers, assassins or crusaders. The hood can be pulled low over the face, creating a mysterious silhouette – a detail that is often noticed at events.
The scarf comes from the ‘Drunter und Drüber’ collection, designed for characters who live in hiding: lightweight fabrics, layered looks and an authentic, worn-in feel. Available in grey and washed green.
