Two-tone tabard - a knightly symbol of history
Our tabard is made from 100% cotton. A beautiful garment that stands out thanks to its two-tone design: one half is natural-colored, the other is colored. This contrasting design not only gives the tabard a beautiful appearance, but also a touch of history.
In the Middle Ages, the tabard was an item of clothing worn by knights over their armor. On it were colors and symbols that represented the wearer's coat of arms. These were also important identifying features on the battlefield. Today, the tabard is a popular item of clothing for historical re-enactments, medieval festivals and LARP events. This tabard is ideal for anyone who wants to complete their medieval knight outfit.
Note: The tabard can also be worn without armor and still look chivalrous, e.g. with a belt (not included). If you want to wear the tabard over armor, we recommend choosing one size larger.
