Norman nasal helmet from 1.6 mm (0.063 in) thick steel
This Norman helmet or nasal was reconstructed after a find from the 11th century.
It was made of 1.6 mm (0.063 in) thick steel and is therefore only conditionally suitable for show fighting.
A very comfortable leather inlay with chinstrap was attached inside for fastening.
