Description
Roman pugio holders, Tekija pattern, pair
These Roman pugio holders (for daggers) were made after a find from the Flavian period near Tekija / Tekije in Serbia. The original artifact is dated to the second half of the 1st century AD, the Flavian period, and belonged to the cingulum or balteus of a Roman legionary.
This authentic belt mount is cast from brass and was then tin plated. Brass holders like this are great for making your own Roman belt and can also be used as replacement parts for legionary belts.
