Viking dress Jona, green
This medieval dress is loosely cut, floor-length and features color-contrasting handmade witch embroidery.
The slit neckline is worn open or, depending on your preference, closed with a brooch. This dress comes with a fabric belt.
Front and back are made of rectangular fabric panels. In the middle and on the sides are inserted so-called geren (wedges), which give the hem enough width.
This cut of the dress is based on archaeological finds dated to the 9th and 10th centuries.
Fragments have been found in Skjoldehamn, Birka and Haithabu, where the cut is clear. The dress is therefore based on an authentic Viking dress.
