Medieval steel spectacle helmet

This solid Viking helmet with visor is a robust replica made of 2 mm (0.08 in) thick steel and is fully suitable for reenactment combat. The two helmet halves are double welded both inside and outside, ensuring maximum stability. The typical band fittings and the distinctive “visor,” also made of 2 mm (0.08 in) thick steel, are firmly riveted, providing optimal protection for the head during reenactment combat.
The design is based on original finds from the 8th and 9th centuries, a time when such helmets were popular with Vikings. They were often complemented with chain mail or worn over a chainmail coif. The high-quality, adjustable leather inlay with a sturdy chin strap ensures a comfortable fit. The helmet is available in two sizes to ensure the best possible fit.
