Viking tunic with embroidery, natural white / red
This viking tunic is made of cotton. It was cut wide and should therefore be worn with a belt. A knot design has been applied to the border, which is based on the border on the Lärbro (Gotland) picture stone. Furthermore, two pockets were inserted at the side seam, in which small things such as keys and money can be easily stored. Rectangular fabrics have been attached under the arms to make them more comfortable to wear.
This tunic corresponds to the garb of the Early Middle Ages and High Middle Ages in Northern Europe. Typical for this period are longer cut upper garments and the straight cut fuselage part. Archaeological finds with similar sections have been made, for example, in Viborg and Haithabu.

*The circumference of the garment must always be larger than your bust size so that you can put on and take off the tunic and also wear it without it stretching. Therefore, the two measurements differ from each other. Please note that cotton fabrics may shrink a little when washed and therefore choose in case of doubt rather one size larger if you fluctuate between two sizes.
