Description
Viking bag handles made of oak – pair
These bag handles made of solid oak are based on archaeological finds from important Viking sites such as Haithabu, Birka and Viborg. They are ideal as functional accessories for historically inspired clothing at medieval markets, LARP events or Viking re-enactments. They are made in Germany from local oak, oiled for natural protection and a pleasant feel.
The hangers serve as traditional hangers for Viking bags, where leather is threaded through the slots in the hangers and straps or cords are attached through the holes. This design was widespread in the Nordic region. The wood has been carefully oiled, which emphasises the grain and protects the material. Whether you are building a new Viking bag, replacing a damaged original or adding an authentic detail to your camp outfit, these hangers provide a solid basis for craftsmanship with historical reference.
