Description

The Cotehardie Marian is a basic medieval dress from Epic Armoury’s Yoremade collection, designed for the High and Late Middle Ages (14th and 15th centuries). Unlike other models with a button placket, the Marian features a central lacing system with reinforced eyelets, which cinches the fabric tightly at the waist and creates a perfectly fitted, flattering silhouette.

The lower sleeves feature a row of functional buttons that taper the sleeves at the wrists – a historically significant fashion element of the Late Gothic period. The dress is made from 100% cotton (slub fabric), which creates a pleasantly rustic and ‘worn’ look thanks to its characteristic, slightly irregular thread structure. It is breathable and ideal for extended wear at markets, LARP events and exhibitions.

The Marian Cotehardie is designed for women with a passion for the Middle Ages who value historical authenticity and a personalised fit. It is available in blue (Royal Blue) and brown and is suitable for a wide range of character roles.
