Leather straps – vegetable-tanned
These high-quality leather straps are ideal for belts, bag straps and other sturdy leatherwork.
As the straps are cut by hand, the width may vary slightly with a tolerance of approx. 1 mm. Made from the so-called ‘pike cut’, the straps run lengthways along the grain of the leather. This ensures high stability and durability. Although the length may vary slightly, each strap measures at least the specified length. Straps with a width of approx. 15 mm are approx. 2.5–3 mm thick, whilst all wider straps are approx. 3.5–4 mm thick.
As all leather straps are supplied ungreased, we recommend using leather grease before use and as part of regular care. This keeps the leather supple and protects it from cracking.
