Medieval tabard

The medieval tabard in blue/yellow is an authentic garment for historical costumes and reenactments. Its straight, calf-length cut is based on the tabards of the 12th century and can be worn comfortably over armor, chain mail, or undergarments. Historically, the tabard served not only as a decorative garment, but also to distinguish friend from foe on the battlefield and to protect against sunlight.
Made from 100% cotton, the tabard is durable and comfortable to wear. The yellow arrow appliqué on a blue background makes it highly recognizable. The tabard can be individually adjusted with a ribbon at the waist. The straight cut is typical of this style of clothing; a leather belt can be used to further emphasize the waist.

Note: Only the tabard is sold; staff or other accessories are not included.
