Description

Nasal helmet with celtic motives made of steel

This beautiful nasal helmet was made of 1.2 mm thick steel. It was then treated antique to simulate a dark patina. The zoomorphic eyebrows and nose are made of brass and are attached to the helmet with rivets. For a comfortable and secure hold on the head, an inlay made of leather and a chinstrap made of 3mm thick leather was incorporated inside.

This helmet is not an authentic reproduction of an original. The form reminds very much of an early and high medieval Norman helmet, while the eyebrows and the nose were inspired by Celtic or Nordic motives.
This makes the helmet ideal for Larp, Fantasy or as a decoration for home, as well as for collectors.
