Description
Viking sword (National Museum Copenhagen) with scabbard, 10th century.
This sword was inspired by a sword from the 10th century, which can be examined today in the Danish National Museum.
The Viking sword is made of a broad blade of carbon steel. The wide gouge of the blade reduces the weight considerably and still allows it to display its strength.
