Green Viking tunic with leather appliqués – Men’s "Leif"

The "Leif" tunic draws inspiration from early medieval Viking attire and translates it into a wearable, sturdy garment for markets, camps and LARP events. A long, straight silhouette, full-length sleeves and a round neckline with lacing and eyelets – the basic concept is simple, but the execution is rich in detail.

What sets this tunic apart from simple replicas are the genuine leather appliqués: vertical leather strips run across the front and back of the chest, with further bands continuing down the sleeves at the wrists and elbows. All appliqués are studded with decorative rivets, giving the garment a powerful, warlike touch. Additional leather straps around the upper arms complete the overall look. The material – 100% cotton – ensures comfort even during longer events. The front and back slits facilitate movement and are a typical feature of historical tunics, making walking and riding equally easier.

Vikings wore their clothing not only for protection against the weather, but also as an expression of rank and identity.
