Description

To fashion a historical Viking/Rus/Khazar lamellar armour for yourself, you need the accurate plates that will allow you to assemble one... and these lamellae will be just the right fit! Inspired by the archaeological find in Birka and Balyk-Sook, these plates will allow you to re-assemble the most popular and iconic Viking/rus lamellar armour.

These plates are HANDMADE from sturdy 20 gauge MILD STEEL, which makes them sturdy yet lightweight. Each lamellar plate measures approx. 9.8 cm (3.86 inches) in length and approx. 2.8 cm (1.10 inches) in width. A set of 100 pieces of these lamellar plates weighs approx. 1 Kg and 925 grams (4.25 lbs). Note: This set of scales is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
