Description
Children Roman helmet made of steel
This Roman soldier helmet (also called Cassis) is a copy of an imperial Gaulish helmet of the Weisenau type of the 1st / 2nd century. Distinctive features of this type of helmet were the pronounced eyebrows, the brow bar and the circular decorative rosettes made of brass. Helmets were generally part of the basic equipment of a legionary.
In this offered model, special care was taken to make it fit a child's head, which is why it has a difference from the original fragment.
It is made of steel and embellished with ornamental brass applications. The Roman children's helmet is also equipped with movable cheek flaps and a chin strap, which gives the helmet a good grip. For a comfortable fit on the head, an inlay made of faux leather is incorporated, which is adjustable in size.
With this Galea children are well equipped to defend their fortress. The Roman camp, the carnival party or the home playground can thus become an adventure.
