Directly inspired by 14th-century originals, this BATTLE READY Klappvisor Bascinet will make an excellent choice for a knight like you! It can be worn with an aventail (sold separately) for optimum protection and look. Its carefully designed visor ensures minimal vision loss and breathing hindrance.

This helmet is handmade from 16 gauge MILD STEEL with a polished finish. The height is about 30cm (11.8 inches), the inner depth from front to back at eye level measures about cm, the inner width at ear level is about cm, and the eye squares are about 1.6 cm (0.63 inches) long and 0.9 cm (0.35 inches) wide. This helmet has an inner circumference of 68 cm (26.8 inches) (before padded liner attachment) and will fit most head circumferences from about 58cm to 61cm (22.8 to 24 inches), depending on the shape of the wearer's head. If you desire to wear an additional padded cap, then measure your head circumference while wearing it. (The padded liner already attached inside the helmet is usually enough for most adult male heads). The face opening behind the visor is about 15.5 cm (6.1 inches) long and has a maximum width of about 15.5 cm (6.1 inches). Weighs about 3 Kg 290 grams (7.25 lbs).

Note: This product is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
